tan•gent [tan-juh nt] idom 1. off on / at a tangent, digressing suddenly from one course of action or thought and turning to another. noun 2. a monthly sneak peek into our rehearsals.

Tangent #1 We go off on tangents all the time. Most often during rehearsal and most often when there is work to be done. But sometimes those tangents lead to new sounds being created (or just plain good fun) so we decided to bring you some of our tangents over the next few months. On-the-fly arrangements, less than 20 minutes of rehearsal and voilà! From last week’s rehearsal, raw but in the real, we present Tangent #1, a sweet song by the British soul singer Michael Kiwanuka.
